Bourbon Jelly

While making jelly for Christmas gifts, I suggested to The Husband that he make some from his bourbon.
"Hmmmph. Be a waste of good bourbon if you ask me." was his answer.
"Dunno" I said, "I'm thinking it might be pretty good..."
Eventually he relented and gave it a try. Half way through the process he tasted and grumbled,
"I'll take mine on the rocks!"
Ever the skeptic, he stuck to that opinion right up to the moment he popped that first biscuit, dripping with melting butter and Bourbon Jelly into his mouth... After all...

Some things are just meant to be.
